CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE! STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING (SUP)  Relaxing and exhilarating, easy yet challenging, SUP is the perfect way to explore Cape Cod’s beautiful ocean coastline, serene kettle ponds, and marshes. The prone standing position offers a great viewing angle of everything above and below the water. Looking down, you can easily see fish, seals, and shells while quietly gliding across the water! Great for all ages, it is the ideal family vacation activity! KAYAKING An established favorite, conventional kayaks are a fun and easy way to explore or fish area waterways. Great for all ages! They can also be rented in conjunction with SUP boards. Adventure Chatham has several different styles of versatile family friendly sit-top kayaks. The smaller Bic Balbao comfortably fits one adult plus a small child. The larger tandem version fits up to two adults and two children! We also have award winning Emotion Glide sit-in kayaks, and two high performance Emotion Grand Slam Angler touring/fishing kayaks. BEACH CRUISER BICYCLES Beach cruiser bikes offer casual seaside style and performance. A great choice for riding the Cape Rail Trail, commuting to the beach from your rental cottage, or leisurely cruising Main Street shops. The classic “retro” look, reliable mechanical performance and comfortable ride have made these a West Coast staple. The Route 137 parking lot for the Cape Cod Rail Trail is exactly one mile from our store! Leave your car at our facility and bike to the trail, or we can deliver bikes there for you at a scheduled time. Or, take them to your vacation rental and explore the Cape at your leisure with a multi-day rental!

Easier than surfing, this beginner friendly paddle sport feels like walking on water!  It is a great core workout and has become a favored celebrity sport.

LESSONS


We are confident that anyone can learn to paddleboard!  If you would like a lesson, we offer one-hour sessions which include an overview of basic standup paddle board techniques, ocean safety and awareness. 


Rates: $60 private lesson, $50/each 3+ people


WE BRING THE FUN TO YOU!


Adventure Chatham can deliver and retrieve boards, bikes and kayaks to private residences, rental cottages, local resorts or your landing of choice in the Chatham or East Harwich area for a flat rate of $15 per item! 


Please Note: Delivery service is limited to drop off/pickup at vehicle accessible driveways or parking areas.  Customers are required to carry equipment to the water or beach as needed based on their specific location, and return to parking area for scheduled return pickup. In the event that Adventure Chatham staff is needed or requested to do a substantial amount of manual transportation an additional fee of $50 will be added to the delivery charge.


RENTAL SCHEDULING


Customers are recommended to sign up for rentals at our store,  located at 1150 Old Queen Anne Road on the Harwich/Chatham town line.  A valid drivers license, a credit card security deposit, and waivers are required at registration.  If available, equipment can be taken the same day or may be scheduled for future pickup or delivery. 


While at our facility customers can view instructional SUP videos or purchase recommended accessories!


It is recommended that you call in advance to book your rental equipment and/or excursion to ensure availability.
